Start when it is just a kitten and provide a litter box. Lure your cat to the litter box after every meals, play time and upon waking up. Rewards will keep your cat interested within the training. Success may take some time before achieved by your cat.
The cat obedience training includes teaching your cat to go and potty at the right place. Teaching your cat where it shoud sleep, play and potty is also included in the training. To live in peace with your cat will require conducting this training. Cats that lack obedience training usually end up scratching all the furniture, destroying items and peeing everywhere. Guide and observe your cats to correct any unwanted behaviors.

You have to remember that hitting is not acceptable in cat obedience training as this will just lead your pet to stay away and be afraid. A minimum of 10 minutes a day is all it takes for the said training.
